The Story
The JazzWorx Big Band is one of nations most exciting and consistently performing modern jazz ensembles. Since launching our weekly residency at CraftWorx Taproom in Gainesville, VA we’ve become a centerpiece of the local music scene — delivering powerful, fun, and energetic big band music every Monday night.
Our band features top-level musicians from across the Metro DC area, including seasoned pros, educators, composers, and performers who bring passion and technical excellence to every performance.
Whether you’re a lifelong jazz fan, a student musician, or simply looking for a fun night out, JazzWorx offers a welcoming and unforgettable live music experience.

JazzWorx Big Band is made up of an exceptional group of musicians from across Northern Virginia and the greater Washington, D.C. area. Our members bring together decades of experience as performers, educators, arrangers, composers, and recording artists.
Representing a wide range of musical backgrounds, the ensemble is united by a shared passion for jazz and live performance. From classic swing and big band standards to contemporary jazz arrangements, each musician contributes their unique voice and artistry to create the signature JazzWorx sound.

The JazzWorx Experience goes far beyond Monday Night Jazz. Throughout the year, we turn ordinary evenings into unforgettable celebrations with our popular Special Guest Artist Series and themed events that have become audience favorites.
